The Haven’s Annual Benefit Concert
An enchanting evening of soulful music to support a good cause
Since 2004, the Upper Valley Haven’s Annual Benefit Concert has drawn packed or standing-room only crowds to the Lebanon Opera House. Past performers include Richie Havens, Arlo Guthrie, John Hiatt, and Suzanne Vega.
The Shelter the Homeless Committee of Our Lady of the Snows Church in Woodstock, VT organizes this event. Because of their hard work and the generous underwriting by local businesses, this event is becoming a significant source of revenue supporting The Haven's programs.
Stay tuned for an announcement of 2008's performer...it will be the concert's 5th Anniversary and we are preparing for a big show!!!
Chefs of the Valley
A late afternoon gala sampling the Upper Valley’s finest cuisine prepared by the region’s top chefs
In the Spring of 2007, The Haven held its inaugural Chefs of the Valley event at the Dartmouth Outing Club House in Hanover, New Hampshire where over 200 guests tasted delicious bite-sized food prepared by chefs from Allechante, Carpaccio, Carpenter & Main, The Hanover Inn, Jackson House Inn, The Lauren Inn, The Norwich Inn, The Perfect Pear, The Prince & the Pauper, and Simon Pearce Restaurant.

Covered Bridges Half Marathon Team
In 2007, twenty five people joined The Haven’s inaugural Covered Bridges Half Marathon team. Team members gather sponsorships for their 13.1 mile trek over the classic covered bridges of Vermont. Email , if you are interested in joining The Haven’s 2008 Covered Bridges Half Marathon team.
