Liz Verney
development director
Liz Verney officially joined the Haven team in November 2008, although she established previous ties with us through participating in our Chefs of the Valley event. Her Development experience came from her role as Assistant to the Chair of the Board, Event Coordinator & Parent Liaison at Killington Mountain School as well as from her former position as Annual Fund Director & Golf Chair at Gould Academy in Bethel, ME. Liz has a BA from Connecticut College and professional experience in graphic design, website development, marketing and advertising. Liz has served on non-profit boards, and has been an active member of her alma maters' fundraising teams. Liz grew up in southern NH, and moved to the Upper Valley seven years ago. She enjoys spending time with her two young daughters, outdoor exercise and adventure, water, sun and giving back.
